2021 MotoGP™ Dutch Grand Prix
The Netherlands is known as the country that conquered the sea and built windmills but did you also know, it was the first place to hold a Motorcycle World Championship? All the way back in 1949. The current, rather flat circuit was purpose-built for the Dutch TT in 1955, with previous events having been held on public roads. At, 4,5km long, the track is narrow with rapid changes in direction and surrounded by grandstands and grass banks. A massive favourite with riders and spectacles alike, Assen is well known for its extravagant and festive atmosphere.
