One of the things that spectators love about the Twin Ring Motegi circuit, is its stunningly beautiful setting, nestled in the Motegi mountains, north of the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. This circuit was first constructed by Honda in 1997, and the first MotoGP™ race took place two years later in 1999. One of the things that also makes this such a special race, is the fact that Japan is also home to some of the biggest names in motorsports, giving the race an extra competitive feel.
